🦅 Come Under the Hawk's Wings
"Under the hawk's wings come" is a fast-paced and fun game where a hawk tries to catch the other participants as they run across the field!
🎨 Preparations
Before the game starts, you need to prepare the cards: Decide how many colors each participant should have on their card. Choose how many participant cards you want to use. Select between 10 and 60 colors to be included in the game. Once everything is decided: Print the cards, cut them out, fold them, and laminate for extra durability.
🏃 Get Ready!
Choose one participant to be the hawk. The hawk stands in the middle of the play area. All other participants stand in a line at one end. The play area can be both indoors or outdoors, but make sure there is plenty of room to run.
🎯 How the Game is Played
The hawk shouts loudly: "Under the hawk's wings come!" The participants answer: "Which color?" The hawk calls out a color, for example: "Yellow!"
⚡ What Happens Now?
Participants who have that color on their cards can calmly walk to the other side – completely safe. Everyone else must run as fast as they can across the field without being caught by the hawk!
👥 Will You Be Caught?
If a participant is caught by the hawk, something exciting happens: ➡️ They become part of the hawk's team and help catch more participants in the next round!
🏁 When Does the Game End?
The game continues over and over again until all participants have been caught, or you choose to end the game yourselves.
